What you need
SideStep runs in Google Chrome on a computer (Windows, Mac, or Chromebook). It doesn't work on phones or tablets. You also need an active SideStep pass, and you sign in with the same Google email you used to buy it.

How do I get started?
Follow the Quick start. It takes about two minutes. The Guide covers every feature in more detail.
SideStep says I don't have a pass.
Open the SideStep panel and click I have a pass: sign in. Use the same Google email you bought with. If you bought with a different email, sign out and sign in with that one.
A field didn't fill.
SideStep never guesses. When it can't fill a field, it outlines it in amber and lists it in the panel. Click the item in the panel to jump to it, then answer it yourself. Tell us which site it was so we can add support for it.
My resume didn't attach.
In the panel, check that Resume shows the file you want, then click Fill This Page again. If it still doesn't attach, use the site's own upload button, and email us the job link so we can fix that site.
Why won't SideStep answer some questions?
Some questions are yours alone: agreeing to a privacy notice, an arbitration agreement, or terms. SideStep outlines them so you don't miss them, but you answer them. You also choose how it handles voluntary questions like gender or race, in Settings → Voluntary self-ID.
Does SideStep submit applications for me?
No. It fills the form. You review it and press submit yourself.
